Welcome to the shiny new LandBarge.com blogs. For now only myself and k8 will have blogs on here, but that may change in the future. As you could probably gather from reading elsewhere on the site, we're off to the US shortly for my brothers wedding. We'll be flying out of Perth International on the 12th of August, spending most of the 13th of August in Auckland before flying out that night, crossing the international date line and landing in Los Angeles sometime in the afternoon of the 13th of August. Then it's a quick dash to the other side of LAX and onto another flight to San Jose. We'll be in San Jose for about 3 and a half weeks, before we fly out on the 5th of September. This time crossing the international date line the other way, we land in Auckland on the 7th of September and sometime in between the 2, I miss my next birthday. I've also been doing a bit of duty free shopping for the trip, which has included a Garmin nuvi 265w GPS and a Canon Legria FS200 video camera. Look out for more feedback on the 2 of those in future as we give them a bit of a workout on our trip. Both seem very capable so far, but they haven't done a lot of work yet either. Anyway, that will do for now... I'll post more soon...
