well.................. on Friday night i got a yellow sticker put on my car,
the reason? because i have blue park lights and my sports pedals didn't have any rubber sticking thru the holes to stop the slipping off thing.
I really wish that the police force would get their facts and figures straight and in one basket!!!
I originally had red park lights in, i was stopped by the coppers and they told me that the red ones were illegal due to it signifying emergency and ambulances etc........... i can understand that, but then they proceeded to say that other colour were ok.
The whole time in Rocky that i have driven around with the blue parkers showing, i have never had any problems, and yes i have been seen by the coppers with them on.
Then on friday night, they also told me that having a radar detector was legal...................... as long as it was switced off. (due to taking your attention away from the road when it made a sound)
I enlightened him with the fact that looking at my speedo took my attention away from the road, as did changing a CD, and what if i had a GPS thingy in the car. wouldn't that draw my attention away from the road to look at that?
They were definately doing the "good cop bad cop" thing.
Now i have to pay $55 for one(1) go to the pits, and if it fails that due to someone else wanting more revenue, i have to pay another $40 for a second go.
I am a single mum with two girls, paying off a house, trying to earn a living and raise my girls and pay off my car.
I don't spend my money on much, my major interest is my car, my passion is cars. If i want to spend money on my car and try tom ake myself happy with it, without it being DEFECTED or a ROAD HAZARD (whgich it's not), why the hell do i feel like i'm being punished for doing something that i love?
And then am being blackmailed into having to sign the work order to get my licence back, which were his exact words " sign this and i will give you your licence back, if you don't sign i won't give it back"

Sorry Fil if this is something of a bad post, but i had to air my views and have my say, if it's too bad then please feel free to remove it or let me know and i will remove it myself.
Thank you for letting me have my say
