Coming some time later this year, LandBarge.com plans to run the 'Dirty Weekend Cruise', an exclusive cruise for Japanese performance coupes such as Supra's and 300ZX's.

The finer points are still being sorted out, but involve an overnight stay in Margaret River and a movie at the local drive in.

We're also still considering whether to make this a 2 day or a 3 day event.

So, please, post your suggestions up here.

Over the weekend, I ran the Dirty Weekend Cruise, here's a brief overview....

Kate and myself took the day off work on Friday and headed down in the afternoon to spend some time together and had dinner at Settlers Tav in Margaret River.

Saturday we met up with the guys who drove down that morning just south of Busselton, then went from there to Mongrel Creek winery, then on to Happs, from there we went to Rivendell where we'd planned to have lunch, but their restaurant was closed for reno's, so we had lunch at the Bootleg Brewery around the corner instead. After lunch we headed off to Sandalford Winery, then hit the Margaret River Chocalate Factory, Margaret River Cheese Factory and Palandri Winery before heading to Marg's for the night.

On Sunday we headed out to Rosabrook, Brown Hill, The Berry Farm, Serventy, Redgate and Xanadu... Then up detoured out to Caves road to head into Dunsborough for lunch at the bakery and on home...

We ended up with a few bottles....

1x '06 Happs "Late Picked Verdelho"
1x '04 Happs "Garnet"
1x '06 Happs "Pale Gold"
1x '05 Sandalford/Element Cab Sav
1x '06 Sandalford/Element Late Harvest
1x '06 Sandalford/Protege Rose
2x '05 Palandri Late Harvest Riesling
1x Berry Farm Boysenberry Port
1x Berry Farm Strawberry Liquer
1x Berry Farm Strawberry Sparkling
1x Brown Hill Light Red
1x Brown Hill Paddy's Red
1x Redgate White Port
1x Redgate Sav Blanc Semillon
1x Xanadu Secession White Cabernet

(plus the bottle of 05 Happs Fuschia we bought Friday night at the bottle shop in Margs to drink there)
