Welcome to My Empire

...Or something like that

This is to be greatly enhanced upon before too long, but here's something nice and simple, and very much text based. You may have arrived here after scanning a QR Code that looks a little like this, if you did, then that's pretty cool, as for now, that's about the only way that I'm promoting this portal to my websites. You may have arrived here after scanning a QR Code that looks a little like the image on the right, if you did, then that's pretty cool, as for now, that's about the only way that I'm promoting this portal to my websites.

Just click on the tabs at the bottom of this box to find out more about my websites and other online resources.

HighOctanePhotos.com is my biggest site, it's a purely photographic site covering motorring and other events, mostly in Western Australia, but covers other geographic regions when I am able to travel.

LandBarge.com is my other actual domain, it's a smaller site that I am trying to keep kind of an online community / magazine type feel to, in that it's got a bit more typing on it, and the galleries are much smaller, but uploaded sooner than those on HighOctanePhotos.com. The galleries on LandBarge.com generally serve as previews for those on HighOctanePhotos.com, but also include albums I have deemed not quite suited for HighOctanePhotos.com, not due to explicit content or anything like that, just because they're the less motorsport oriented stuff that I do. For example, Urban Exploration and Night Photography, with no Automotive content, will usually end up on LandBarge.com.

I also maintain a blog over at blog.highoctanephotos.com, this blog is populated with photos from either of the 2 other sites (as I mentioned above, some photos will only ever turn up on one of the sites) and also try to string a few words together at the same time. Writing is not something that comes naturally to me, but I am making an effort to write more and to try to write better as well. If you want to see what photos I think are cool, or am particularly proud of, then you should check out the blog.

In addition to the above sites, I also maintain a YouTube channel where you can see some of my experiments with videography. As I'm usually focussed on photography at the drag strip and other motorsport events, I don't get a lot of time to shoot video, however I have gotten hold of an in car camera mount and have been experimenting with some in car video.

Of course, everyone has a facebook page these days, and HighOctanePhotos.com is no exception. The content on the facebook page includes links to my blog posts, news from HighOctanePhotos.com and is usually the first place I post a link when I upload a new album of photos to HighOctanePhotos.com.
